April 19 (wk17) – Longsuffering
There are times we must guard our hearts and minds when dealing with those whose underlining agenda is to cause harm or dissension. However ; Jesus states that we are to have love for our enemies: (Matt. 5:43~48)
“ You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you: Love your enemies and pay for those who persecute you, that you may be sons off your Father in heaven. He causes His sun to rise on the evil as well as the good, and send rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get?…If you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that? Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.”
I am very aware that this feels unbearable at times; especially when you need a listening human ear. All the advice I am able to share tonight is to: GO WITH GOD…“And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from ~~ or seen in me,~~ put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with YOU .” (Phil. 4: 7, 9).
My prayer is that someone may have been blessed or will be blessed according to God’s Holy Wisdom. May you find yourself in the presence of His precious Holy Spirit and the arms of His dear Son, Jesus our Saviour❤
Peace & Blessing,
